The fourth-generation AirPods retain

Apple offers four different models, featuring three true wireless earbuds and one over-ear headphone option. In this guide, we break them all down to help you decide which one best suits your needs.

If you own an iPhone, iPad, or Mac, Apple’s AirPods are often the top choice for wireless audio. Our team of audio specialists at zackmarketer has tested every headphone Apple has launched — even going back to the original wired EarPods —

so you can rely on our expert recommendations. We pride ourselves on an independent and honest review process, ensuring that the advice we give is the same we’d follow ourselves. Right now,

If you own an iPhone, iPad, or Mac, Apple’s AirPods are often the top choice for wireless audio. Our team of audio specialists at zackmarketer has tested every headphone Apple has launched — even going back to the original wired EarPods — so you can rely on our expert recommendations. We pride ourselves on an independent and honest review process, ensuring that the advice we give is the same we’d follow ourselves. Right now, the Pro 2 stand out as our top pick and Editors’ Choice, offering outstanding sound quality,

their open-ear design, which doesn’t create a full seal in the ear canal. Generally, we’re not big fans of this style, as it can result in uneven audio, weak bass, and a less stable fit. However, Apple’s latest model is the first open-fit earbud we’ve reviewed that features active noise cancellation (ANC). On top of that, they offer vibrant sound quality, sophisticated adaptive audio functions, and seamless integration with iPhones. Although they don’t completely solve the consistency issues common with open earbuds, they handle them far better than most competitors.

AirPods

The AirPods Max stand out for two major reasons: they are Apple’s only over-ear headphones and come with a price tag that’s more than double that of the AirPods Pro 2. In return for the premium cost, you get outstanding active noise cancellation and top-tier audio performance. Unlike the in-ear AirPods, which feature a white plastic design, the AirPods Max boast a sleek metallic build and are available in multiple colors like Blue, Midnight (black), Orange, Purple, and Starlight (gold).

However, at$111.98, they represent a significant investment—especially considering they might not hold their leading edge for long. Should Apple release an updated version in the future (beyond switching to USB-C), we hope to see a redesigned Smart Case that offers better protection beyond just covering the ear cups.

The AirPods 4 represent Apple’s newest addition to its entry-level true wireless earbud lineup. While they don’t offer noise cancellation or some of the premium features found in the higher-end models, they excel where it matters most: sound quality. Impressively, they can reproduce deep sub-bass tones — a major achievement for an open-ear design. If active noise cancellation isn’t a priority for you, the standard AirPods provide a more affordable option without sacrificing audio excellence.

Earphone

Apple’s second-generation AirPods Pro, also known as the AirPods Pro 2, are the company’s top-tier wireless earbuds. If you’re looking for excellent sound quality, outstanding active noise cancellation, and full access to Apple’s premium features — all packed into a sleek, compact form —

these are the best AirPods to choose.

At the heart of the AirPods Pro 2 is Apple’s advanced H2 chip, which, according to Apple, offers noise cancellation that’s up to twice as effective as the previous H1 chip. Superior noise cancellation isn’t just ideal for flights or commutes — it’s a crucial advantage for minimizing everyday distractions, whether you’re working, studying, or relaxing at home

HP EliteBook 660 G11 Review

HP EliteBook 660 G11 Review

HP’s EliteBook series sits above the ProBook lineup in the brand’s hierarchy, offering more premium features and performance. The EliteBook 660 G11 is a sleek yet powerful business laptop, especially when equipped with a 28W Meteor Lake-H processor. However, for those prioritizing battery efficiency without sacrificing performance, a model with the 15W Core Ultra 7 155U—like the one we tested—delivers a solid balance of power and energy conservation.

Performance

The HP EliteBook 660 G11 delivers solid performance thanks to its Intel Core Ultra processors (15W or 28W configurations). Depending on the configuration, it can be equipped with Intel’s latest Meteor Lake-H chips, which offer a good balance of power efficiency and multitasking capability.

This laptop offers four different 1200p display options, including a touchscreen variant. While HP advertises full sRGB coverage for two of the panels, we haven’t independently verified this, so it’s worth confirming before making a purchase. One of the available screens integrates Sure View Reflect technology, which enhances privacy. With a single button press, the display content becomes unreadable from side angles, ensuring confidential information stays secure.

The HP EliteBook 660 G11 is packed with features that make it an appealing choice for professionals and business users. Let’s dive deeper into more aspects of the laptop that may influence your decision.

Office professionals who enjoy gaming have the option to equip their laptop with the GeForce RTX 2050, making it a viable choice for entry-level content creation as well. However, even the integrated GPUs provide decent performance for casual gaming, provided the DDR5 RAM operates in dual-channel mode.

On the security front, the standard features include a lock slot, a self-repairing BIOS, a privacy shutter, and a dTPM 2.0 chip for added protection. For those seeking enhanced functionality, premium add-ons such as NFC, a fingerprint scanner, an IR webcam, and a Smart Card reader are available at an extra cost.

Design and Construction

The EliteBook 660 G11 closely resembles the ProBook 465 G11, with the primary difference being its lid logo, which lacks rounded edges. HP has maintained a familiar design language seen across many of its previous models. This works in the laptop’s favor, as it sports a clean, modern aesthetic. Additionally, it is both slim and lightweight, starting at just 1.75 kg with a profile thickness ranging from 10.9 mm to 17 mm.

Features: The Fort Knox of the HP EliteBook 660 G11

The HP EliteBook 660 G11 isn’t just a business laptop; it’s a fortified powerhouse packed with features that ensure your data remains protected and your experience smooth. From advanced security to durable design, this machine has been designed to cater to professionals who demand both performance and protection. Let’s dive into what makes it a secure and reliable choice for business users:

Security Features: Fortified Against Cyber Threats

HP has made security a top priority with the EliteBook 660 G11. This model comes equipped with an extensive range of security features, making it a true “Fort Knox” for your data.

  • Self-Healing BIOS:
This advanced security feature automatically restores the BIOS to a trusted state in the event of a security breach or corruption, ensuring your system remains protected from malware attacks.
  • dTPM 2.0 Chip:
The Discrete Trusted Platform Module (dTPM) chip encrypts sensitive data, making it more difficult for unauthorized parties to access or tamper with your files. It’s a hardware-based encryption system that gives your data an extra layer of defense.
  • Fingerprint Reader & IR Webcam:
The fingerprint scanner allows for biometric authentication, adding a secure and convenient way to unlock your laptop. For even faster logins, the IR webcam supports Windows Hello facial recognition, providing password-free sign-ins.
  • HP Sure View Reflect Privacy Screen:
One of the standout features for working in public spaces is the HP Sure View Reflect privacy screen. With the press of a button, it makes your screen unreadable from the sides, ensuring prying eyes don’t access your confidential data.
  • Webcam Privacy Shutter:
Keep your meetings private with a physical shutter that blocks the webcam when not in use, preventing any accidental or unauthorized video capture.
  • Smart Card Reader & NFC:
For additional secure access and authentication, the EliteBook 660 G11 includes an optional Smart Card reader and NFC (Near Field Communication) for wireless authentication using mobile devices or contactless cards.

Experience optimal performance with the Snapdragon 732G chip, ensuring a seamless and reliable user experience. Perfect for indulging in your favorite video games at the highest quality, this device is equipped with a 5,020 mAh battery and 33W fast charging capabilities. Stay up-to-date with the latest Android and MIUI updates, delivering a host of exciting features and improvements. Immerse yourself in a world of smooth gaming and advanced technology with this exceptional device.

Here’s a completely unique rewrite of your article:

Impressive Battery Life, Whether at 60Hz or 120Hz
Fast Charging: 55% in Just 30 Minutes

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro packs a sizable 5,020mAh battery—an impressive capacity, especially considering how slim and lightweight the phone is for its price range.

Out of the box, the device defaults to a 60Hz refresh rate, which helps conserve battery life and ensures a strong first impression in terms of longevity. Since higher refresh rates consume more power, this setting is ideal for users who prioritize endurance over ultra-smooth scrolling. We tested the phone at 60Hz for the first few days and found its battery performance to be more than satisfactory.

Related artcle:

With moderate daily use, you can typically end the day with around 35-45% battery remaining by midnight, giving you plenty of buffer for heavier usage when needed. And when it’s time to recharge, the Redmi Note 10 Pro doesn’t disappoint—its fast-charging capabilities can juice up to 55% in just 30 minutes, keeping downtime to a minimum.

Here’s a completely unique rewrite of your article:

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro impresses with its sleek satin-finish back that catches the light with a subtle silver glow. For those who prefer a bit more flair, it’s also available in striking off-white and orange color options.

For a phone in this price range, the hardware design is commendable. However, if you plan on using it without a case, the plastic side buttons do reveal its budget-friendly nature.

Instead of an in-display fingerprint scanner, Xiaomi has opted for a side-mounted sensor. While this might not be as flashy, it makes up for it with speed and reliability. Another handy addition is the IR blaster on the top, which, when paired with the Mi Remote app, allows the phone to function as a universal remote—something that’s more commonly found on Chinese smartphones but surprisingly useful in everyday situations.

Now, let’s talk about something you’ll use all the time: the speakers. The Redmi Note 10 Pro delivers an outstanding audio experience for its price range. The dual speakers produce loud, clear sound with a touch of bass, making them a standout feature. One speaker is positioned at the bottom, while the other sits above the screen with two output points—one on the top and another on the front. This design ensures a well-balanced stereo effect and prevents sound from being muffled, even when holding the phone during gaming sessions.

When it comes to audio quality under $139/£127.75, the Redmi Note 10 Pro easily ranks among the best.

Here’s a fresh and unique rewrite of your article:

The Redmi Note 10 Pro may have a few drawbacks, but overall, it shines as one of Xiaomi’s finest budget-friendly smartphones. In fact, it competes strongly with the best affordable phones on the market.

One of its standout features is the stunning 120Hz OLED display, delivering smooth visuals and vibrant colors. Powered by the Snapdragon 732G, this phone handles gaming with ease, while its dual speakers offer some of the best audio quality in its price range.

The 108MP main camera captures impressive shots, though the megapixel count alone shouldn’t be the sole focus. The device also includes a well-optimized night mode for enhanced low-light photography. Surprisingly, the macro camera is a hidden gem—unlike many budget phones where it’s just an afterthought, this one is actually useful, especially for nature shots.

Battery life is another strong suit. Even with the 120Hz refresh rate enabled, the Redmi Note 10 Pro delivers long-lasting performance, ensuring you get through the day without stress.

Build quality is also a pleasant surprise. Instead of the plastic backs that are now common even in premium Android phones, Xiaomi has opted for Gorilla Glass, giving it a more polished and durable feel.

When it comes to competitors, Xiaomi’s own Poco X3 NFC is a notable alternative, though it features an LCD instead of an OLED display and is slightly bulkier. If 5G connectivity is a priority, the Real me X50 5G is worth considering instead.

With its powerful specs, high-quality display, and excellent cameras, the Redmi Note 10 Pro remains a top contender in the budget smartphone category.

Camera Performance – 50MP Main Sensor & 4K Video Recording

The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra Review is equipped with a 50MP primary camera, which, by default, captures 12MP images using pixel binning. This technique combines four pixels into one, enhancing light sensitivity and overall image clarity.

Photo Quality

  • HDR processing is effective, balancing highlights and shadows well. However, overall image sharpness could be improved, as larger areas sometimes show pixelation.
  • Low-light performance is decent, with good brightness and visible details, though some noise is present in darker regions.
  • The ultra-wide camera is suitable for casual shots but lacks fine details, making it less ideal for capturing intricate scenes.
  • Edge distortion correction on wide-angle shots is average, and unlike its predecessor, the macro lens has been removed, limiting close-up photography options.

Zoom & Video Capabilities

The zoom function is not seamless, requiring users to switch manually between the main and ultra-wide cameras rather than smoothly transitioning between focal lengths Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra Review.

One major upgrade is the ability to record 4K videos at 30fps with the main camera. Even in low-light conditions, videos appear clear, with minimal noise. The autofocus is quick, and exposure adjustments are smooth, ensuring stable and well-lit footage.

Selfie Camera Performance

The front-facing camera produces sharp and well-detailed selfies, allowing for slight zooming in without a significant drop in quality. This makes it a solid option for social media and video calls.

Final Thoughts

While the Galaxy S23’s camera system has some limitations—such as lacking a macro lens and ultra-wide sharpness issues—it offers good image quality, effective HDR, and an improved 4K video recording experience, making it a strong contender in its price range.

Communication, Software, and Performance – Minor Enhancements

The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra Review comes equipped with 5G connectivity, a significant improvement over its predecessor, which lacked support for the latest mobile network standard. With access to multiple 5G bands, users can enjoy faster internet speeds and reliable mobile data, even while traveling internationally.

Wireless Connectivity & Network Performance

  • The device supports Wi-Fi 5, delivering stable and class-level transfer speeds in tests with the Asus GT-AXE11000 router.
  • During real-world usage, the Galaxy S23 consistently maintained a strong 5G connection, though signal strength was occasionally one bar lower compared to premium flagship models.

Software & Updates

Samsung provides regular software updates for its flagship Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra Review, ensuring security patches and performance improvements. However, users should check for the latest One UI updates to stay current with features and optimizations.

Display & User Experience

  • The 120Hz refresh rate enhances smooth scrolling and fluid animations, making everyday interactions seamless.
  • The touchscreen is highly responsive, delivering precise feedback for navigation and gaming.
  • The fingerprint scanner is embedded in the power button on the right side, offering quick and reliable unlocking even when the screen is off.

Biometric Security

  • Face recognition is available for unlocking the device, but since it relies solely on software, it is less secure than hardware-based solutions. As a result, it cannot be used for banking apps or other sensitive logins.

Final Thoughts

The Samsung Galaxy S23 makes notable improvements in connectivity, display responsiveness, and overall performance. With 5G support, smooth operation, and reliable security features, it remains a strong contender in the premium smartphone segment.

Pros

  • Pocket-friendly size
  • Strong performance
  • Good battery life
  • Respectable cameras

Cons

  • Slower charging than S23+ and S23 Ultra
  • No ultra-wideband (UWB) support

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra

Why We Chose It T

he Galaxy S24 Ultra stands out as one of the pinnacle choices among premium smartphones, and its elevated price is completely warranted. Beyond its exceptional display quality, it excels in performance, boasts an impressive array of cameras, integrates robust productivity software, and exhibits prolonged battery life. Furthermore, its durability and full waterproofing add to its appeal.

Galaxy S24 Ultra Display: The Power of Antireflective Technology

AI-driven features and a 200-megapixel camera are impressive, but the one feature I rely on daily is the display. Surprisingly, Samsung didn’t give enough credit to the antiglare screen on the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which is one of its most practical upgrades. In fact, the company only released a detailed video about the Corning Gorilla Armor technology three months after launch, downplaying how impactful this innovation really is.

The S24 Ultra’s display significantly reduces glare and reflections when used outdoors, outperforming other top flagship devices. I compared it side by side with the iPhone 15 Pro Max, Pixel 8 Pro, and even last year’s Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultrara on a bright day in San Francisco, and the difference was crystal clear—literally. The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra emerged as the clear winner, offering unmatched visibility in direct sunlight.

Whether I’m taking photos or watching videos, I no longer have to adjust my viewing angle or shade the screen with my hand. The improvement is dramatic, making outdoor usability one of the standout strengths of the Galaxy S24 Ultra. For a closer look at the comparison, check out the embedded video on this page.

I find it surprising that Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra waited months after launch to share details about the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s screen construction. This delay could be partly due to the display issues some users encountered in the weeks following release. Fortunately, Samsung quickly addressed these concerns with a software update, resolving the problem.

Switching to this new antiglare display from the curved S22 Ultra also came with an unexpected advantage—a flatter screen. This design tweak makes a noticeable difference when using the S Pen, especially for taking quick notes when the display is off. Now, I can write all the way to the edges without any limitations, improving the overall note-taking experience.

Galaxy S24 Ultra AI Features: Circle to Search Steals the Spotlight

When it comes to AI-powered features on the Galaxy S24 Ultra, there’s no competition—Circle to Search is the clear winner. I use it constantly, whether I’m looking up something on a webpage or circling an object directly from the camera app. It’s intuitive, fast, and incredibly useful in day-to-day scenarios.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra Review

Beyond that, I also frequently use Samsung’s AI editing tools, such as the shadow and reflection eraser and the rotating canvas option, which smartly fills in image edges when repositioning a photo.

However, these features are no longer exclusive to the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra With the One UI 6.1 update, Samsung has brought them to the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. Plus, Google Pixel phones already have Circle to Search, making it less of a unique selling point for the Samsung

Galaxy S24 Ultra As my colleague Lisa Eadicicco pointed out, this feels like a missed opportunity for Samsung to set the device apart with truly exclusive AI innovations.

A Sensor Optimized for Photography

The Panasonic Lumix DC-G9 II Best Micro Four Thirds Mirrorless is the second Micro Four Thirds camera to feature a 5-axis stabilized 25MP CMOS sensor, following the GH6. While the sensor architecture is similar, Panasonic has fine-tuned the G9 II to enhance photographic performance, incorporating on-sensor phase detection pixels for improved autofocus.

Though it utilizes a traditional CMOS design, its electronic shutter readout is fast enough to capture sharp images of fast-moving subjects. During testing, it successfully froze hummingbirds in flight, whereas cameras with rolling shutter issues would have distorted their wings.

Exceptional Video Capabilities in a Stills-Focused Camera

Although the Panasonic Lumix DC-G9 II Best Micro Four Thirds Mirrorless is primarily designed for photography, it continues Panasonic’s strong legacy in video performance. It holds its own against many competitors in its class, thanks to its stabilized sensor and extensive support for various video bit rates and formats.

The Panasonic Lumix DC-G9 II Best Micro Four Thirds Mirrorless records 4K60 in both UHD (16:9) and DCI (17:9), with 10-bit 4:2:2 color sampling for enhanced color depth and accuracy. For slow-motion recording, it offers 4K120, while 4K48 is available for seamless integration into a 24fps cinema timeline, making it a versatile choice for hybrid shooters.

Micro Four Thirds in a Full-Frame Design

Rather than basing the Panasonic Lumix DC-G9 II Best Micro Four Thirds Mirrorless on its predecessor, Panasonic has adopted the full-frame S5 II’s body. While the S5 II is compact for a full-frame camera, Micro Four Thirds models are typically designed around a sensor that covers about a quarter of the surface area of a full-frame sensor. This smaller sensor allows for lighter, more compact lenses, making the camera highly portable. Despite its downsized sensor, the G9 II maintains image quality comparable to slightly larger APS-C cameras, ensuring a strong balance between performance and convenience.

Premium Display and Viewfinder

The G9 II features both a swing-out touch LCD and an eye-level viewfinder for enhanced usability. The 3-inch LCD boasts a resolution of 1.8 million dots, providing a sharp, detailed image. It performs well under bright daylight conditions, with an adjustable backlight to combat glare. Off-angle viewing is excellent, ensuring clear visibility from various positions. The touchscreen response is highly responsive, allowing you to tap to set focus or easily navigate through menus with ease.

Phase Detection Autofocus

The G9 II is just the third Lumix camera to feature a phase detection autofocus system, joining the S5 II and S5 IIx in this new development. This shift to phase detection is a significant upgrade for Lumix cameras, which have traditionally relied solely on the contrast-based Depth From Defocus (DFD) system. While DFD has been accurate, it lacks the tracking speed needed for action shots and doesn’t perform as reliably in video compared to some competitors. Many other manufacturers adopted phase detection sensors in their mirrorless cameras years ago, making this update a notable step forward for Panasonic.

“Why We Chose It
The GoPro Hero12 Black stands out as the top choice for video-centric creators looking to capture outdoor escapades, underwater exploits, and high-energy sports, while also catering to vlogging enthusiasts. With support for 5.3K60 and 4K120 capture, this camera delivers remarkably stable footage sans the need for a gimbal, offering the flexibility to be mounted virtually anywhere.

The 8:7 format sensor adds versatility by allowing the extraction of 16:9 and 9:16 video from the same clip. Enhanced versatility comes from optional accessories like the Media Mod cage and microphone, along with the ultra-wide Max Lens 2.0 mod. Notably, the Hero12 is waterproof up to 33 feet.

A Well-Known Set of Professional Controls

For experienced users, switching to the Pro Controls interface provides access to the camera’s full range of features. To activate this mode, just swipe down to bring up the menu, then swipe left to navigate to the second page where all the advanced settings are unlocked.

Streamlined Multi-Camera Syncing and Wireless Audio Integration

Syncing settings across multiple cameras is now easier, especially with the GoPro Hero12 Black Review, which introduces timecode sync functionality. The free-running timecode simplifies the editing process for multi-camera projects by removing the need to manually align clips on a multi-track timeline. Matching up cameras is straightforward; simply point each Hero12 at a QR code displayed in the Quik app.

Another new feature is wireless audio support. The GoPro Hero12 Black Review is compatible with true wireless earbuds that support the Hands-Free Profile (HFP) v1.8 and Headset Profile (HSP) v1.2 Bluetooth protocols. Once paired, the earbuds record audio to a separate track, enable voice commands for camera control, and allow you to listen to audio while reviewing clips on the camera.

GoPro Hero12 Black Review has provided a list of compatible earbuds, including Apple AirPods, Google Pixel Buds, Samsung Galaxy Buds, Jabra Elite, Bose QuietComfort, Beats by Dre Studio Buds, and Cardo Packtalk Black. However, some recommendations, like those for the Jabra Elite series, may be too general, so it’s advised to confirm Bluetooth profile compatibility with the manufacturer. Additionally, the Sabinitek SmartMike+ is the only wireless mic officially supported.

Hero12 Black: Accessories and Battery Performance

Similar to the Hero11 Black, the Hero12 uses GoPro’s Enduro battery. In my tests, the battery lasts a bit longer than its predecessor, providing just over an hour of 5.3K60 recording and around 80 minutes for 4K60. This is an improvement of about 10 minutes for both formats compared to the Hero11, but it may still fall short for a full day of filming. Extra Enduro batteries are available for $24.99.

The GoPro Hero12 Black Review also performs better in terms of heat management. I was able to record for about 30 minutes at 5.3K60 and 40 minutes at 4K60 in a room at 70°F. In both instances, the camera’s temperature reached 115°F before shutting down. This is an improvement over the Hero11’s quicker overheating issues.

GoPro’s approach to presets isn’t without its flaws. For instance, it’s not possible to transfer settings between different GoPro cameras, nor can users create personalized labels for presets. The list of available presets is fairly extensive, including options like Air, Bike, Epic, Custom, Indoor, Looping, Motor, Mounted, Outdoor, POV, Selfie, Skate, Snow, Trail, Travel, and Water. However, more intuitive labels such as “Vlogging” and “Slow-Motion” are noticeably absent. When I inquired with a GoPro representative about the potential for these features, the response was positive, though somewhat non-committal.
